What services do you offer?

I offer catering for events and gatherings, including finger food, lunch catering, grazing platters, pastries and sweet treats. All menus are seasonal and tailored to suit your event, whether it’s a corporate lunch, family gathering, or special occasion. 

How do I get started?

Simply get in touch via the enquiry form and tell me a little about your event including the date, number of guests, and the style of catering you’re after. I’ll guide you through the options and help create a menu that suits your event. 

What makes you different?

Thyme & Place is a one- person, hands on business, which means you’re working directly with me from start to finish. I take a thoughtful, personal approach to each menu, keeping things seasonal, flexible and tailored to your event rather than offering set packages. Bonus is everything is made from scratch, creating the best flavour possible.

Do you cater for dietary requirements or allergies?

I’ll always do my best to accommodate dietary needs and allergies. Please let me know any requirements when enquiring. My kitchen handles common allergens, but I take care to plan menus safely wherever possible.

Do you provide equipment or serving items?

I focus on preparing and delivering the food, so standard serving equipment isn’t included. However, I can provide eco-friendly cutlery, paper plates, and serviettes for a small fee if needed. Just let me know when you enquire. 

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend getting in touch as early as possible, especially for larger events or during busy seasons. Booking in advance helps me create a menu tailored to your event and ensures everything is made with care.

Do you cater for kids birthday’s?

Absolutely! I love creating menus for kid’s parties. from finger food to sweet treats. Everything is made from scratch, portioned for little hands, and can be tailored to suit dietary needs or themed celebrations.

Is there a minimum order?

A minimum order may apply depending on the menu and event size. I’ll let you know when we discuss your details.

Do you offer delivery or collection?

I can deliver your order within Papakura, Pokeno, Tuakau, and surrounding areas. Collection is also available from my home kitchen if that’s easier for you. Let me know what works best when you enquire
